Microsoft today released a press statement in which it announced the extension of the Media Center line into new countries by the end of 2004. As a result of the possitive response from Customers in the current supported countries, and interest from those which arn't Microsoft will be working with OEM's to deliver Media Center in four new countries.

Australia: Acer Inc., HP and Toshiba Corp.

Austria: chiliGREEN Computer GmbH and GERICOM AG

Italy: Acer, ASEM SpA, Brain Technology SpA, CDC Point SpA., Comex SpA, Datamatic SpA, Elettrodata SpA, Frael SpA, H.I.I. SpA, HP, Intercomp SpA, Olidata SpA, Packard Bell, Toshiba and Winner SpA

Netherlands : Dynabyte, Fujitsu Siemens, HP, MegaSellers, MyCom Computers, Norrod Computers, Packard Bell, Paradigit Computers, Qmotion Computers and Sky Computers
